Mind-Body Healing

Mind Body Healing is mainly restorative and therapeutic in nature and is ideal for students who seek to heal from injuries while calming their nervous system. This set of sessions is also beneficial for improving breathing and enhancing flexibility and strength. Practiced Yoga Styles for Mind-Body Healing include –

Yoga therapy is primarily corrective and preventive in nature. Ideal for all levels of yoga practitioners, these yoga practices helps reduce health-related issues such as high blood pressure, asthma, constipation, joint pains, stress etc.

Restorative yoga is a yogic practice which primarily slows down and opens up the body through reflexive stretching. Restorative yoga consists of limited and simple postures and is quite different from the contemporary yoga styles. Restorative yoga uses props, which makes it easier for practitioners to maintain balance while achieving mental, physical and emotional relaxation.

Chair yoga is a mild yogic practice in which poses are achieved while seated on a chair. Chair yoga sessions are mainly ideal for those with physical disabilities or aging individuals, who find typical yoga practices too demanding. Chair yoga is also ideal for beginners or anyone who intends to focus on a gentle and mild practice.

Conceptualized by the legendary B.K.S. Iyengar, the Wall Rope Yoga is labeled as the mother of all yoga props. Using Rope against a wall for yoga practices guides you to length, strength, alignment, and ease in the postures like nothing else. The Yoga Rope Wall can facilitate you find proper alignment in postures, and find the steadiness and softness that Patanjali mentions of in the Yoga Sutras. Developed by Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati, Satyananda yoga is a system of yoga that follows his lineage, which integrates practices derived from ancient and traditional sources. This style of yoga inculcates practices in a traditional way, asanas to stabilize the body and mind through the physical body, Pranayama to work on the energy body, and meditation to quiet and focus the mind.

“Meditation” or “Dhyana” sessions is your go-to session for simple tips and guided practices to calm your mind and craft meditation part of your modern daily life.

A yoga practice that offers deep restoration to your body and the mind, while making your practice more effective, it’s ideal to end your yoga sequence with Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep). In Yoga Nidra sessions you will be trained to consciously take your attention to different parts of the body and relax them one at a time.

Mind Body Grounding is mainly slow-paced and detailed in nature and is ideal for students who seek to learn alignment, strengthen the body, increase flexibility etc while improving the mind-body connection. Practiced Yoga Styles for Mind-Body Grounding include –

Yin yoga is a slow-paced yogic form with postures/ asanas, which are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced courses require you to stay in one posture for 5 minutes or more. With Yin Yoga help in stretching while targeting both the connective tissues between the muscles and the collagen right through the body.

Mind-Body Dynamic

The Mind-Body Dynamic pillar is primarily fast-paced and focused on one’s breath. This pillar is best for students who seek to build strength, flexibility, and stamina on the upper body while concentrating on their breath. Practiced Yoga Styles for Mind-Body Dynamic include –

Vinyasa in Sanskrit means flow. Vinyasa yoga sessions consist of powerful practices involving synchronization of breath continuous flow of postures. Vinyasa yoga is ideal for the cardiovascular system and builds endurance and strength.

An Intensive flow of yoga postures and dominant breathing techniques and asanas to put up body strength and stamina.

Also widely popular as Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation, sun series is one of the most important yoga practices. Sun series is a set of 12 yoga postures that can be performed while chanting 12 different mantras. Mantras add a reflective spiritual component to the whole yogic practice.

Cultivated by Shiva Rea, Prana Flow technique is a creative and energetic, holistic approach to embody the flow of yoga. Prana flow form is ideal for all students, irrespective of their yoga proficiency levels.

Wheel Yoga uses a wheel as the prop that is engineered to help in stretching and releasing tension and muscular stiffness in the back, shoulders, chest, abdomen, hip etc.

Also widely known as Anti-gravity yoga is an amalgamation of acrobatics and traditional yoga asanas where practitioners are suspended in the air facilitated by a sling made of fabric. Prenatal yoga practices creates an optimistic and positive space for you and your baby while preparing both for a gentle delivery. We use a holistic method in prenatal yoga that consists of revitalizing poses, gentle breathing, meditation, and relaxation. Our Postnatal yoga program provides support new moms in reclaiming the integration of their bodies in the post-partum period. These practices also help you to deepen your bond with your baby since we focus on addressing general post delivery problems.  Postnatal yoga helps you release tension, regain strength and support oneness of your body, spirit, and mind.

Kundalini yoga is a system and defined practice to awaken the dormant energy in human. The practice of Kundalini yoga helps to raise the shakti from Muladhara (lowest chakra, which represents the animal instinct)  towards Ajna chakra (the intuitive & luminous being).
